Yesterday, for the first time in god knows how many years, we went for a bus ride on the new free twice weekly mini bus. It was an odd experience for a lifelong non user of public transport. It was a real old age pensioner thing, a bus trip, a walk round the local market, then back home for breakfast.
Today my cash card decided to give up the ghost, and got refused at the hole in the wall. This is not a good thing when your only access to money is via the card. A certain amount of backside twitching ensued, before a new card was ordered from the bank in England. God knows how long that will take to arrive, so in the meantime it looks like egg and chips for a while.
Its the worst time of all next Wednesday, as the car is booked in for its CT (MOT) test. I don't know why ,but I have always had a dread of the MOT, they are like dentist appointments to me. Deep down I know it will be OK, but I still get really stressed about it.Fingers crossed......
